Before you begin

Confirm that the source is usable

A correct source and supplier contact prevent wasted scans and reduce the risk of sending an order to the wrong address.

The catalogue or price-list URL opens without a sign-in.
The URL points to the intended supplier source, not only its home page.
The supplier record contains the correct ordering email address.

Step 1

Save the supplier source and contact

Order Helper separates the location used to collect product data from the contact record used later to send the order.

Supplier Sources

Add the catalogue source

  1. Copy the public catalogue or price-list URL provided by the supplier.
  2. Paste the full address into the Supplier catalogue URL field.
  3. Select Add Supplier.
  4. Confirm that the source appears in the saved Supplier Sources list.
Manage Suppliers

Confirm the contact details

  1. Open the Manage Suppliers area below the product workspace.
  2. Find the supplier record that will be used for ordering.
  3. Check the supplier name and email address carefully.
  4. Save any correction before you build or send an order.
Keep recurring sources activeLeave regularly used supplier catalogues available for future scans.
Archive tests and one-off sourcesAfter validation, archive sources you no longer need so the working list stays clear.

Step 2

Scan the catalogue and inspect the preview

The scan produces a preview for review. It does not remove the need to check the selected source and its product information.

Catalog Scan Preview

Run the scan

  1. Open Catalog Scan Preview.
  2. Select the correct saved supplier source from the list.
  3. Select Scan Catalogue and wait for the preview.
  4. Use the title filter when you need to inspect specific results.
  5. Check the detected information before selecting products for import.
Correct sourceConfirm that the selected catalogue belongs to the intended supplier.
Relevant productsCheck that the detected products are useful for your ordering workflow.
Names and identifiersReview titles, product references and other displayed identifiers.
Price informationCheck the price shown by the source before importing or ordering.

Quick troubleshooting

If no products are detected

Start with the source itself. Most scan problems come from restricted access or an address that does not point to the actual catalogue.

The source requires a sign-inCatalogue scanning needs a publicly accessible source. Ask the supplier for an accessible catalogue, CSV file or supported XML file.
The URL opens the wrong pageCopy the exact catalogue or price-list address, update the saved source and run the scan again.
The preview is emptyOpen the URL in a separate browser tab, confirm that content is available and retry after correcting the source.
The catalogue remains unreadableUse CSV or supported XML import instead, then review all imported information before ordering.
