Import Products with XML

Use XML import when a supplier provides product information in a supported structured file. XML can reduce repetitive data entry, but the imported information must still be reviewed.

Upload the XML file

1. Select Upload XML File.
2. Choose the supplier XML file from your computer.
3. Wait for Order Helper to process the file.
4. Check the imported product count.

Review the essential fields

Confirm that the information required for ordering is present and correct, including:

• product name;
• category;
• price;
• product or supplier identifier; and
• any other field used by your team to recognise the item.

If a field is missing or appears in the wrong place, stop before building an order and contact support for guidance.

Recurring supplier feeds

A one-time supported XML file and an automatically updated supplier feed are not the same setup. For recurring feeds, confirm the configuration with AIBUILDHUBS before relying on automatic updates.

Final check

Open the product workspace and compare a small sample of imported items with the supplier file. Continue only when the data is suitable for ordering.
